Welcome to the North Fork Special Service District Website.

NFSSD provides water, sewer, garbage, and emergency services to the residents and visitors of the North Fork area of Provo Canyon, Utah. This is a rural residential and recreational area at the base of Mount Timpanogos. The service area includes the Sundance Resort and BYU’s Aspen Grove family camp.

The district is governed by a volunteer administrative control board that is appointed by the Utah County Commissioners. The Board meets at 7:00 pm on the second Thursday night of every month at the fire station. The public is encouraged to attend monthly board meetings.

The North Fork Special Service District is governed by a Board of Trustees. Trustees are appointed by the Utah County Commission.

The Board of Trustees meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noticed, at the North Fork Special Service District Building located at 8838 N Alpine Loop Rd. PUBLIC MEETINGS

District open to the public

Meetings Schedule:  Monthly Meeting of the Board will be held Thursday January 9th at approximately 7:00 p.m. The agenda and other details will be posted on the Utah Public Notice Website 24 hours prior to the meeting.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Officers of the North Fork Special Service District will hold the public budget adoption hearing for 2020 and Monday December 30, 2019 at the North Fork Fire Station located at 8838 N Alpine Loop, Provo, commencing at 6:30 p.m.  All interested persons are invited to attend, make comments and ask questions. Notices will be posted in the Daily Herald newspaper, at the NFFD and the Utah Public Notice Website.

North Fork Special Service District, a political subdivision of the State of Utah created to provide public services in the North Fork area, hereby announces that there will be a public hearing held on December 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the offices of the District, for the purpose to consider the proposal of a change, increase or modifying the water rate structure of the District.  Copies of the current rate structure and the proposed rate changes are available to the public at the District offices at 8838 North Alpine Loop Road, Provo Canyon between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or at NFSSD.org.

The Board of Trustees of the District and District Staff will take comments from the public on the proposed Water Rate Schedule for water rates in writing or at the hearing.  Posted in The Daily Herald and Utah Public Notice Website 12/9/19.
